Role purpose
• The implementation manager is responsible to deliver high quality implementation projects to new and existing customers on time in a positive and diligent way
• You will be the “face” of the implementation project and a customer’s main contact throughout until the project is successfully transferred to business as usual
• You will be required to contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the implementation proposition, governance and processes resulting in a consistently positive customer experience
• You will also work as part of a team in a customer centric, cross functional culture that is agile, adaptable, innovative, and cohesive that sets the example for the wider business support function


Responsibilities
• Lead the definition and delivery of the implementation project through scoping, milestones, goals, deliverables, and business/customer impacts with both the business and customer
• Assemble, mobilise and coordinate the project implementation team providing clear direction and support to the implementation project team
• Maintain correct project governance and process consistency to enable transparency for senior stakeholder steering
• Produce and maintain high quality customer facing plans, and to ensure delivery against these plans, often to tight deadlines
• Ensure impact assessment is carried out for all change requests
• Manage risks and issues and escalate where necessary to mitigate
• Provide regular progress reports to the Implementation Programme Manager and senior stakeholders as required
• Work with the Implementation Programme Manager to identify and manage project and portfolio/programme dependencies
• Implementation Project lessons learnt and assessment of results
• Facilitate workshops and project implementation planning meetings
• Leads and owns comms/engagement with business and Customers to ensure successful transition into
operations (business change)
• Collaborate with other Project Managers and Implementation Project Managers to ensure consistency and alignment
• Regularly update the master implementation programme view with project updates 
• Ensure completion of annual on-line mandatory training on data protection, information security and financial crime. Develop understanding of cyber risk and threat by reading and engaging in communications and awareness training from the business.
• Responsible for understanding and upholding the information security policies

Job requirements

Experience in delivering multiple customer projects, ideally in a Business Travel environment

• Proven track record of building strong working relationships with colleagues, particularly amongst senior

colleagues & stakeholders

• Good organisational, time management and co-ordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

working towards customer driven deadlines.

• Good communication skills both verbal and written demonstrating strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team that is driven to succeed.

• Analytical and imaginative approach to identifying process improvements and problem solving

• Good networking skills with the ability to influence and manage expectation

• Strong knowledge of front, mid and back office system processes

• Understand and support existing and new propositions, products and services translating to a positive

customer implementation experience

• Thorough knowledge of project planning, tracking, and reporting techniques, including use of project

management techniques and tools
